KnowNow, the project with my teammates Annika Tessmer and Tim Pfeifferin was created in the course Transhumanism. The aim was a combination of design research and management with the question zero as: How would our future world look like if learning is completely unnecessary because of the possibility to upload and download skills directly into our brains via microchips inserted our spinal cord? What sounds unrealistic in the beginning is already tested in rats’ brains connected with microchips. We developed a scenario and business model for such a service to start a critical debate about our future society. The focus of the project comprised of the idea, the research, the product marketing, thus a fitted corporate design and the presentation of the project leading to a discussion afterwards.
